Dry sweeping mode is ideal for picking up dust, dirt and hair. And Mint's special mopping motion gets deeper dirt and grime off your floors. Guided by the North Star Navigation System, Mint tracks where it cleans so it doesn't miss a spot. Mint starts by cleaning open areas, moving methodically back and forth across the floor. Mint detects and cleans around furniture and other obstacles as it encounters them. Mint then follows with a perimeter sweep along the edges of furniture and baseboards, then returns to where it started and parks itself. Smart sensors help Mint avoid area rugs and raised carpet transitions, detect areas that are too low to enter and avoid falling down stairs.

I have LOTs of hardwood floors in my house that I swept daily before I got my Mint (whom we affectionately call "Earl"). We charge it up and let it run either in the morning or at night while we are asleep. Now I have those just cleaned floors every day. My family can freely walk barefoot without all those little crumbs that stick to your feet. And all that time I was sweeping and mopping are going into much more productive things like spending time with my kids and in general, being less stressed.
It just works like a charm and so worth the investment.

As a busy mother (two children and pets!) I've found the Evolution Robotics MINT to be incredible! It is like having my own housecleaner available 24/7 without a repeated cost. The mint works great around table legs and chairs...it is great with all the pet hair and my long hair. Mint is pretty phenomenal in that it does all the work and doesn't miss a spot. It is so quiet you can run Mint while you are sleeping.
